About Him
Dr. Debasis Kanjilal, MD is an Assistant Professor at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He is also working as an attending Neonatologist in Elmhurst Hospital Center. From the age of 16, he had a desire to write books. He fulfilled this desire after writing the first edition of Pediatric Board Certification Review (PBCR) in 1991. He has written several other Pediatric Board Review Books.

Achievements

• Dr. D. Kanjilal, MD received the Best Teacher Award in years 1991 and 1992 while working in Lincoln Medical Center.
• Dr. Kanjilal wrote the first edition of Pediatric Board Certification Review (PBCR) in the year 1991.
• He completed residency in Pediatrics and fellowship in Neonatology from Downstate Medical Center and Kings County Hospital.
• He was a National Scholar from Calcutta, India.

The most important thing about Dr. D. Kanjilal is that he can identify what is important for test-takers to know for the Pediatric Board examination. He has written these Pediatric Board Review books to help candidates pass and get a high score in the Board examination. Dr. D. Kanjilal lives with his wife and two children in New York City.
